Since the Bluewater is built in your neck of the woods, I would opt for that first as you should be able to get excellent factory support.

I too am in the market for a 20-21 foot family/fishing boat. In NorthEast Florida with access to St. Johns river and Atlantic ocean. Any recommendations?
I purchased a Hydra-sport 202dc in March 2003. I love it. Its been great fishing and socializing. I have had six adults onboard and haven't had much of a problem with crowdedness. I am at the tail end of the break in period, so I can't comment too much on the speed. So far, its been well worth the money. The only complaint so far is the captains chair. Its a little narrow and has hard sides that aren't that comfortable for larger people. I suggest you negotiate for a more comfortable style. My boat is paired with a yamaha 225 four stroke which has performed well so far.

I love my boat! I have been shopping for this type boat for years, and I always came back to this brand and model. It came with a 150 Yamaha which I've changed to a 200 H.P.two stroke Evenrude E-tec. The E-tec will push this 2700 pound boat to over 50MPH with two adults on it. Very quiet engine. Get with me if you want more info, Dan
