There is an excellent tourism company in Galapagos called Quasar Nautica (www.quasarnautica.com). They are excellent and they can most probably take you fishing and have you catch exactly what you are looking for, be it blacks, blues, sails, etc.

I fished Equidor and Galopagos last year. I would recommed Blue Marlin Lodge. Fished with them 2 days of Salinas Equador and 3 days in Galopagos. Fishing in Galop was fantastic. COught so many marlin, 12 on ONE DAY. My wife and I fished and we averaged 30 to 50 strikes a day. I was actually so many we lost count. If you wan t more info email me. I can give you they names of who to contact.

eqador has nothing on the galapagos. I have fished all of central america. fins and feathers to salinas eqador. San cristabal island is so un "f'd" up I can't begain to tell you how hot the marlin fishing is. The island is so small you can't help but find Gustavo Tours. He is a little young but will do a good job hooking you up on whatever you may need. The marlin season starts in Jan and goes for 3or4 months. however there will always be great action with other species. If you go during those months eat your wheaties and get alot of sleep because the marlin will kick your butt. This place is unsurpased for that time frame. Have fun and good luck

Gustavo is working with Blue Marlin Lodge and is operating the 31ft "Lady Rosita" for them. Capt. Starr's 32ft "Trueno" is right there too. Fishing seems to be better at San Cristobal right now, but that changes from time to time. Santa Cruz was hot, earlier.
