hi Johan,
sorry that i missed your post.
that time your few been completely right, catch & release is on our island absolutely unknown and a hard job to change a nations fishery behavior, but i try. crews on charter boats make around $250.- a month which they double/tripple by selling the catch to the hotels to feed the family.
i am the only outfitter offering catch & release, i started my own little war this marlin season, we are running white marlin right now. if you visit my website now you'll find some nice changes and see i try to turn things around.
