the conventional uni-knot generaly will not provide full breaking strength in most braided lines. But with a slight modification 100% is possible. Start the knot in The normal manner. The first 2 tucks around both strands, then 2 tucks around one strand & finish with 2 tucks around both strands again. Draw knot tight & trim in the usual manner. This combination of 6 turns or tucks bind against one another & provide enough friction to obtain 100% Knot strength.
