In order for Atlantic Blues:
Best place is Venezuela, next Dominican Republic, next St. Thomas;

In order for Pacific Blues:
Best place is Costa Rica, next Panama, next Mexico and Guatemala.

in case of the dominicn republic you should take the east coast,area called Punta Cana, fishing the waters between dominican rep and puerto rico. in june they are mid white marlin season mixed with the started blue ones.

For the ATLANTIC in June the blue marlin season in Venezuela is coming to an end while it is just getting started in Punta Cana, DR and in St Thomas, VI. In St Thomas, only fish the 4 days before or after the full moon. Rest of the time it is relatively slow.
In the PACIFIC Northern Costa Rica is probably your best bet fishing out of either Flamingo or Tamarindo where there's a wealth of good charter boats.

Joe, to plan your trip with the right moon phase is vital for Punta Cana's local waters, too. a full moon day and the day before/after would be a waste of time.third day to 5th before/after i report for my own the top hit rates and then the days with 25% full or less.
but this has not to agree with other destinations skippers experiences, i can only talk about my own ones for our local waters.
