Training Class at IGFA Headquarters-
After an overwhelming influx of interest in our certified observer, we will hold a class at the IGFA headquarters in Dania Beach, Fl., to train and certify experienced anglers, boat captains and crewmembers as observers for fishing tournaments held around the world.
Training class will be on Saturday July 15, 2006.The IGFA Fishing Hall Of Fame & Museum is located in Dania Beach nestled in between Ft Lauderdale and Miami at 300 Gulf Stream Way, next to the Bass Pro shop and Outdoor World off I-95.
The one-day training course includes several experienced instructors, species ID video, a reference manual, followed by a certified test at the conclusion of the class. Certified Observer Program applications are available at the IGFA website www.igfa.org and at the IGFA headquarters. The application must be completed, mailed or faxed to the IGFA, accompanied with a $125.00 fee.
