Is there anything out there instead of an umbrella to use for shade while fishing on a boat?

I hate sunscreen, I prefer to use light long sleeve shirt with UV protection and a cotton cap or hat will be enough. NEVER forget your polarized sunglasses.

sun burn will teach you a lesson, but will never last as a good catch!

Dont know what kind of boat you have but check out my avatar. My boat has a bimini partly over the cockpit, that could be an option for you.
