swordfish quest..

i live in honduras and i am under suspicion that there might be good swordfish fishery, but there is virtually zero experiaqnced captains that have explored the area. I would like to start targeting them but dont know how. i am buying all the necessary equipment but dont know where to start looking, what to look for. i know this is probably a lost cause but im just in love with the species and hate ahving to travel to catch them. can anyone help me out.. im in desperate need.

Well Las Honduras means The Deeps in English-so you must be near some of what you need and that's where you start-ledges and sea mounts.
