New Reel

Looking to buy a new reel for saltwater lure fishing, for Trevelly,Tarpon & Barracuda
Am looking at either the Penn 975ld or the Shimano Calcutta 400 Baitcaster
can't decide which, as I live in the uk I don't get to fish for these fish very often. Any advice would be helpful.

I would get the team daiwa luna, the shimanos drag system is just one big washer, while the daiwa is a stack of small washers, in you ase you would want a stack, they wear out less, disperse heat better, dont wear flat, when that happens you get almost no drag, and when you crank it down to where line just wont come off of it, unlike the shimano where the drag is okay for a while, until you hook a a couple dozen 15-30lb jackcrevales and you drag goes smoooooth, and not in a good way.
