Fly Fishing Philippines

Taking a trip to the Philippines next March, will be there for just over 2 weeks, wanted some general advice (if anybody has any) about where to fly fish west of Manila. Will be staying in and around the Cavite region. Taking a fly rod and a lure rod, looking to fish in both salt and fresh water while I am there. Finding it hard to get any info or advice on fishing in the PHilippines in general so any advice or contacts would be most helpful.

I registered in this site as i am looking for affordable yet quality fishing equipment. As i have wrote before, I am, from the Aurora Province, Philippines, east of Manila. Our place is just facing the Pacific Ocean and yes our water is teeming with life. Our folks just use improvised baits/lures and twines for catching fish yet we are, i dare say very good in catching fishes. and why not, it's our source of livelihood. I would say the things you need for fishing here are very good lures/baits and heavy duty lines.

I too am going to the Philippines. I will be arriving in Manilla on Dec. the 18th. Sorry to say I do not have any tips. This is my first trip and have very little knowledge of the area. Here is the deal though, when I come back I will post how the trip went and where I fished.
I will be bringing Three rods and reels and traveling to Boracay to fish the flats. I have found some info about a shop in Manilla and have a pretty good idea what fish there will be.
If there is any other shops or fishing tips, I would be much appreciative. Thanks

hi i'm jerry of makati city philippines and i am a 14 yr.old fisherman here in makati.... i just want to ask everyone where can i brought my fly fishing rods and reels bcuz almost all of fishing store here in philippines dont have any fly fishing rod or reels.....

any information really helps a lot
