hi,new here so bare with me. i just read a short article on swordies making more frequent apearences up north. allegedly due to ocean warming trends. now all the negative aspects of global warming aside, what does this meanto historic fishing ranges for most pelagics that favor warm water. would this be a boom or a bust in terms of population growth and the actual range of said pelagics. extreme long term effects of climate change are probably not good.but as i am already 43 i hope to miss whatever future disasters await us. could this have a benificial impact on our pastime or is this a harbinger of bad times to come. near future not 100 years from now. now if i said something stupid,go easy on me. i'm just a plumber that loves to fish.

actually I think that the resurgance of swordies up here has more to do with a recovering population than warmer temps. We have always had swords up here, but the numbers went way down up until recently.
