Hi all,
Gonna be going to the Bahamas next month, staying on Lubbers Quarters near Hope Town. I'll be spending a lot of time on the bonefish flats. Any "special" patterns i should have with me other than the usual charlies & clousers. I have been told to carry a few small merkin flies. Anything else?
Also are there enough permit in this area to target them?
Planning on spending some days flipping flies to Mahi in the bluewater, there have been some huge bulls caught in the area, I'll take one on the fly!!! Maybe try for some YFT on the fly if I can find them blitzed up near the surface!!!
