I'm going to fishing for dorado in the Bahamas this June. I was wondering what some good patterns would be. Right now I have been tying big decievers and some EP flies. Just want some feed back on colors and sizes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry should have clarified dorado as being dolphin fish or mahi-mahi.

PSG,
I've never fished for Dorado in the Bahamas but have chased them for several years in Loreto Baja.
Big deceivers and clousers work pretty well. Sardine/Anchovy patterns are the ticket there.
Here is a link to my go to fly in loreto for dorado, rooster fish, reef fish I've even hooked billfish on this fly.

Here is a link to another proven pattern.

I got 4 on the fly last May including this 37lbdr.I got them on longer 4-10 inch streamers I tied up with lots of flash.Unfortunately they get pretty smashed up after a fish and might not be useable again.Still fun though.
