I just built a 12.5 foot two-handed rod for the surf, while test casting I was shooting all my line and backing through the first couple of guides on one back cast. I'm looking at using Frog Hairs shooting line attached to 30 feet of Rio's T-14. Does anyone have any knowledge or opinions on this? Ideas:idea:
