Has anybody read the Mike Rivkin book entitled “Big-Game Fishing Headquarters-A History of the IGFA”?

He is soon to release a new book which will be titled “Angling and War: The Collision of Big-Game Fishing and WWII”.

I bought it, read it and thoroughly enjoyed his work! I will keep a look out for the new publication. Chotiner

I have read the second book, Angling and WW II, and it is as equally as interesting. It is rare to find such a concise and engaging read about big game fishing. The records and legends are just not that well known, nor is the information readily accessible. Mike has provided the big game angling community a real nice resource. Anyone interested in the roots of the sport should read either or both of these books. Here is a link to the thread he started about the other book.
