Looking to get a small thread started on great fly fishing books.
What are your recommended readings?
For me, Bonefishing! is the best book around on fly fishing. It has the most information, the best pictures and really just makes you want to get out there and fish.
Fly Fishing in Salt Water by Lefty Kreh is a good compendium of a lot of different information.. it tends to make for excellent bathroom reading! :thumb:
Tarpon on Fly is somewhat decent, though lacks the good pictures and some technical data.
Bonefish on Fly is a good hardcover book with some nice pictures and good information. It cannot, however, compete with the Bonefishing! book which covers pretty much all aspects of flats fishing. From what to bring, to weather concerns, to how to cast to a school of bonefish moving parallel to a deep water shoreline at a certain speed... technical is good!
What do you all like?
