Modifying Rapala Magnums

Has any tried replacing the treble hooks with J or circle hooks?

I have tried and the Rapala is unusable. The treble hooks create balance and they are designed to work only with treble hooks. I asked this question recently and recieved no replies.

Stephen is right on. You won't be able to go to single hooks, but you can use double hooks. You just have to slow it down, as the lure's actions will increase.
