Hey everyone,
I have tried and looked into several different intermediate fly lines but I have to say that I have fallen in love with the Rio Outbound intermediate line. I love the design of the line as it is designed just like a heavy grain head line. Same design with heavy, wt forward head, and a thin diameter running line. They cast like a dream with less false casting which is fantastic. It took about a day to get used to casting it because I was using just a wt forward intermediate line. Not a line with this design. I used Sci Angler Mastery Series Striper intermediate line and the Rio blows it away:thumb: For those of you that haven't tried it or were hesitant to do so, believe me, try it. You'll love it. I have it on all of my saltwater rods. Tight ones!

Congrats on your finding.

I've used a lot of different lines, but haven't had much use for an intermediate - except for permit.

Yeah, it's a great product. I am going to purchase the tropical version for my trip to Andros this March. Should be equally just as good.

No prob. You will love the line. I promise you that. Just give yourself a day or two to get used to casting it. If you are used to casting a WF intermediate line, you will just need to give yourself time to adjust to casting an intermediate line that is designed like a heavy grain line. :thumb:
