Hello to all, Yes, my name is really Willie Nelson. I'm just no quite as ugly. Can't sing either. Seriously, I am new to fly fishing and recently retired. I live in Hollywood, FL. I don't have a boat but will drive to wherever to fish. I have been fishing these waters for the best part of 40 years mostly from my own boat which I sold 4 years ago. I would like to hear from all of you about fishing from shore, wading, and also fresh water and flies to use. Not too much to ask huh. Thanks for any info and your time away from fishing.

Hi Willie,
I fish the canals for peacocks and anything else that lives in them. Have some Clouser Deep Runners in Chartruese & White, Dark olive & white & Tan &
White sizes 2, 4 & 6. Also some weighted bendbacks in the same colors.
All black w/pearl flashabou and a red yarn throat sometimes really turns them on when nothing else works. I fish canals by walking the bank, usually blind casting close to the bank, cast 60ft. walk 10 cast again.
Peacocks usually hit the first time they see the fly so keep moving &
and show the fly to as many fish as possible. BWO.20 (try c11 & 840
