I had the pleasure of spending the morning of my birthday with Norm Hall (Shortcast) for some kayak fishing in the Ruskin area. We found some reds that were willing to cooperate on the falling tide, but I got too cute with one and he got off. We did find a bunch of these little guys going nuts in the tide pools left over from the negative low tide. They were easy pickings on the fly.
