Real nice site Matt. Always looking for new saltwater patterns to tie. I like the Mohawk.

Great fly-tying video-you're an artist. Very precise and detailed instructions.
Wish I had something like this when I started out in 1961. We never heard of rotary vises. I used the old Leonard or the Thompson A. Thanks Capt.

What I meant to say is, we never had rotary vises or videos or computers.
I was fortunate enough to meet a guy who knew Charlie Fox and Vince ************************ro and the guys who fished the Yellow Breeches and the Letort in the fifties and sixties when I was only a kid, so I started out with the the small stuff. Fishing for trout . Later got into bass on the Susquehanna. I have only been tying saltwater since the mid nineties, mainly for stripers (rockfish) in the Chesapeake Bay. With all the new synthetics and glues, we still come back to basics: bucktail, deer body hair and peacock herl and feathers to imitate life in our flies. Anyway Capt. your work is impressive. Thank You.
