Ran up to Copahee Sound just north of Charleston today and found tons of fish cruising in just under a foot of water but they wouldn't hit the fly. We had alot of fish and even a small blacktip follow but they denied the black clouser, copperhead fly, electric chicken clouser, and a Raz-ma-Taz. I'm lookin for a fresh pattern that these South Carolina Reds haven't seen before, any suggestions from y'all. Keep chasin tail.

since nothin else is workin for ya, try a brown and gold tarpon toad tied with a weedguard. Its my go to redfish fly when they're uncooperative. Work it faster than you would would a tarpon toad right across an incoming school.

I've had lots of success with the copperhead crab over the last week or so. As soon as they see it, they pounce on it. MadMike up at Charleston Angler ties them up.

I assume the water was clear at the time? When the water is low and clear my best pattern is a #4 pink/chart sparsely tied synthetic clouser. I use a black lead head. It comes off as a glass minnow or small shrimp.
