When I got the latest issue of the magazine, I saw that there was an article entitled "Strip Like a Pro". Needless to say, I quickly opened the mag, only to find the article not what I had anticipated.
I thought there would be scantily clad women in various poses, but alas, it was just about how to retrieve a fly. Great article, just not what I was hoping for. Maybe next month there will be one titled " Strip Like the Old Guy who Flyfishes 2 doors down" . I won't be so disappointed then...
What are you kidding? How old are you? For your very first post you come up with something so profoundly astute.

It looks like you are a little thin-skinned. It was meant "Tougue in Cheek", or maybe you would understand it better as "having a little fun". Lighten up some Seth. Jeez!
No, I am not thin skinned nor do I need to lighten up. For a new member in their first post to come up with something so juvenile is banal at best. Maybe next time you can contribute something a wee bit more substantive.

Let me recant my previous statements. :oI did come off a little too over the top. Please except my apology. There is always room for humour. Most importantly welcome and I look forward to you future involvement.

It was my feeble attempt at humor. No need to aplogize, I wasn't offended, but I will try to amend my future posts to be more on the serious side, although it always is a little more fun when it's funny.
And thank you for the welcome!... Rob

In one thread, you're wondering why no one is chiming in, but in this one, you're berating a newcomer? If others see this post, they might be afraid to chime in... Let's play nice...
P.S. aceover, I got that you meant it "tongue in cheek"...welcome to the forum!
You know what, we all see and perceive things differently. This is an open discussion board. Sometimes there will be disagreements. I did not find humor in the statement, it is what it is. aces and I had an exchange and then I apologized. I let him know I was wrong in my approach.

Guys,
Dont take this the wrong way but there does seem to be a lack of humour on this otherwise excellent forum.
In the UK we take our angling seriously but like to have a laugh at the same time. Life's too short to have a sense of humour bypass.
Take it easy troops!
