To Steve...I have a 23' Ox now for 16 years. The Oxes were built like tanks. Yes, they are heavy but powered right they will move. It may be one of the best riding boats around. You really cant compare the Ox to a Whaler. The Oxes produced after 1990 had a deeper V than the older ones. Whalers are much flatter so the will pound, and you will feel it. I wish I could find a 26 for sale that is well kept, but there are none to be had. Now that was a monster of an offshore boat.
