feedback on live bait bridling kit

Anyone have any feedback on the use of the livebaitbridlingkit (google search)? Specifically, missed hookups due to clip attached directly to hook, and washout damage to bait due to connection method? TIA

I have seen the kit, but I haven't used it. I have recently used a little wire set-up that they use down in the Keys for bridling bait for sailfish though and it did all right for bottom fishing. With baits for marlin, because they are tough to come by at times, I use 50lb dacron and bridle it the old fashioned way, with a needle. My attitude is if it aint broken don't fix it. I saw the tool you are talking about and it just didn't look all that good to me and I thought it would be hard on the bait.

Thanks for the input. Had pretty much the same thoughts as yours. Probably won't try to fix something that isn't broken as you said. Thanks again.
