I went to texas yesterday from louisiana and purchased a 26' cc twin vee with 150 suzuki four strokes. We got home kinda late last night. After looking a little closer at the boat since I got it home, I noticed some water in the port side bilge. There is a plug in the forward part of that bilge compartment, when I pulled that plug, I was greeted with about 10 gallons of nice rusty looking water. The boat has been sitting in the parking lot at the dealership for a while. If anyone has any ideas on what may have caused this, and what the fix would be, I would really appreciate it.It was easy enough to explain to the wife how I was going to texas to buy a new boat and save 24 grand. But when you get it home and the hull is full of water,(the hull I was under the assumption that was full of foam). I pulled the same plug on the starboard side and it was dry as a bone. So, any suggestions would be great. Thanks
