Friday afternoon we had the McNulty boys and friends aboard for an afternoon on the wrecks. This wasnt a charter, more of an exploratory trip to go check out a couple wrecks and do some spearfishing. The visiblilty wasnt great, but on the spear we were still able to manage 2 triggers, 2 spades, and 3 togs. Since the visibility was poor, we ended up putting a line in. We caught a nice variety of fish including 2 dozen triggers, 30 flounder (with only one keeper), some oyster toads, and surprisingly we had about a dozen 12-15'' grey trout (all were released). I was really impressed with the flounder fishing. Though they were not huge flounders, I caught 6 fish in a row on 6 casts, 5- 15 inchers and a 20'' one that made it to the table. After playing on the wreck for a while, we decided to troll home, where we proceeded to catch the motherload of spanish off sandbridge and dam neck. All in all, we came in with a nice mess of meat and plenty of variety.
