Hello everyone,
I am pretty new to Saltwater fly fishing. I live in NC. I was wondering if anyone knew of some good areas to try (surf) in NC. I have an Orvis Power Matrix 9wt with intermediate and floating lines. I have tried Emerald Isle (at the point), Ft. Macon ( near the jetty) and Ft. Fisher off the rocks. These were all done in bad conditions. Just wondering if it was the conditions or the location. so far 0 for 2 in salt water, driving me crazy.
