Well anglers many of my clients are from your area and have asked me to post reports here because they check this site a lot so here it goes!!!

Today Capt. Shane Robin was the only boat out due to the New Orleans Boat Show this weekend, I was tied up with some final sponsor meetings, and he got them good. The water is very low and clear so the reds are shallow and tailing everywhere. Capt. Shane said that the two clients on the boat from NC were very skilled and were good at roll casting. They fished small spoon immitations and chartreuse clousers on 10# tip. He said that the fish were ganged up in small schools of 15-30 with most of the fish in the 10-15# range. They doubled up about 9 times and Capt. Shane said that their big one for the day was 20.7lbs on the spoon. All of the fish were released and he said that there was some 40-80# drum in a cove that they could never get a strike from. Oh Well. The fishing, as always, is awesome right now and both fly and casters are catching good. We finally got some steady cold weather to drop the water out so we can get our fish to move up into the 5-12 inch flats. I hope all of you are doing well fishing so far this year. Good Luck. www.CaptainCharlie.com
