Patiently waiting on a Sig P220 Elite myself, have shot the Glock, just doesn't feel right to me though I know many swear by them.
I DID just yesterday shoot a Springfield XD .45 and at 1/2 the price of the Sig, has me scratching my head  very sweet, thin, and shoots where it points. 13 rounds of .45 in a surprisingly thin package, .. you might want to take a look at it as a good comparison. People including the folks at my range swear they'll eat anything and 0 returns to the store.

Cant give any info about the 21SF, but I must have put 5,000-10,000 rounds through my 17 with maybe 3 rounds jamed up. I swear by my Glock knowing it wont lock up when I really need it, Its basically 3 peices and a breeze to clean, if the 21SF is at all like the 17 I would definetly go for it

You all have my Deepest Condolences.:(
It must be horrible to live in place where you need a firearm to protect you from harm.
I'm so lucky-here I live downtown in a city of over half a million people-my ground floor windows are wide open, will remain so all night and that's how we all live here-I've been in the same neighbourhood for over a quarter century and never heard of any problems.
Once I had a neighbour's cat knock over some plants but that's cats for you they like to wander.:gr_cheers:
