I am new to the board, I have fished the rivers here in the NW for years and found it was time for a change. I am looking at a 2006 Polar Bayboat. After inspecting the hull back towards the transom I noticed swails in the hull, equal on each side. There appear to be two on each side. Is this for spray or for lift? It almost looks like a defect. I have sent some photos and have yet to hear from the manufacuture (makes me suspicious). The boat is new and unused and it is priced a very reasonable.
