I have fished in the cannons off of Ocean City, MD for all of my life. I am very familiar with the area and I am familiar with the sport fishing scene. I have knowledgeable informational resources such as other captains and crews in the area as well, if you are new to the area. I am very familiar with the local ************************s: I have spent the past 6 summers working on boats in Sunset ************************ in West Ocean City as well as The Ocean City Fishing Center.
Some more personal information about myself: I am a 21 year old college Senior at nearby Salisbury University (Finance major if it is relevant), only 25-35 minutes away from Ocean City.
I am very experienced and can adjust to any program/ spread/ tackle/ system/ etc.
I have mated for Charter boats, Private boats, and I am familiar with normal maintenance
I am experienced with many offshore sporting species including: Whites, Sails, Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, and Wahoo.
I spend the winter/fall/spring breaks in my education in south Florida, particularly the Stuart and Jupiter inlet, fishing for Sailfish, Mahi-Mahi, and other species.
Tournament info: I have mated in the Tuna Tournament out of Ocean City since I was 14 years old. This past summer I mated for a boat out of Sunset during the Mako Mania tournament. I also joined Team Reel Direct for a ride along during the White Marlin Open for the past few summers. Tournaments are not new to me, even though I am younger than most full-time mates. My view is if you fish every day like a tournament, you won’t ever have to set aside time just to practice… every day is practice.
