Whats the buzz in Mobile Bay?

Yeah, this is a JONG question but I am new to this game. What's the bite been lately in Mobile Bay and Big Lagoon? I'm fairly uninfromed about this saltwater thing. 90% of my fishing has been fresh water. I've been fishing a few times on charters, inshore and offshore, and was wondering how I should go about being a partially successful fisherman in the Bay.

Lots of wind, lots of rain in the last couple of weeks has the waters churned up, moving fast and muddy. On the other hand, it's been clearing pretty well, and folks have been reporting good catches of specks, white trout & flounder on the lower end of the Bay.
