How often do you need to change fly line? Specifically, I have a rod that is about 5 years old and I finally used it last fall in saltwater.

Also, I ordered a fly from Cabelas, "Shock 'N Awe Tube Fly," how do I rig it?

You may want to clean the line in soap and water then dress it. As long as it was not in the conditions and was protected, it could be okay. Don't know what the fly looks like, but rig it with a loop knot.
