Sarasota Bay 6/22/09

Redfish were the highlight of Monday's (6/22) trip to Sarasota Bay. Angler P.J. Kirkhorn, of Dade City, had a blast with some redfish on light spin tackle. His biggest fish measured at 29 inches and weighed 8 pounds. He took the fish on a Mirr-O-Lure Mirro-Dine. Three more redfish of 25", 24", and 22" fell to artificial bait presentations during the day. The objective was tarpon on fly, but the winds made that proposition impossible.
