Our intrepid globe trotting Capt. Jason Brice (skipper of Casa Vieja’s “Twenty”) reports from Canary Islands:

Last week on the “Rigel IV” - Day 1- 0-0, day 2- 1-1, day 3- 1-4, day four (1/2day) 1-1. No big fish, but everybody seems to be seeing fish everyday. Awaiting our boat the “Freespool” 39 Guthrie to be delivered.

There were some good fish caught today. The “Hedonist” caught one 920#, with John Phillips. The “Bocinegro” released a big one as well, with Tim Choate.

Capt. Brice continues: We finally took delivery of our boat the Freespool - 39 Guthrie on Wednesday and started fishing today (01 July) with the owner and his son. Raised 7 blues, hooked 4, caught 2.

Jon Phillips and Tim Choate fishing from the Atlantis caught 6. Everyone saw bunches of breaking marlin.
