My contnder with twin 200 yamaha HPDI's picks up an unusual amount of weeds when running at cruising speed. It clogs the intakes, next thing I know the heater horn goes off, place in neutral,clear the weeds, cools right down,off I go, motor ,runs cool till it happens again. New impellers, good stream, no weeds, no problem. What's the story? Is this a generic problem with twins? when I had a single 200 HPDI(different boat) never occured.
