Beth Synowiec of Virginia Beach, VA (also known as Classicrockfish) saw the cobia while standing on her hard top. She did not have a chair up there but a simple set up of a rope in her left hand and her rod in her right hand. With a great sense of balance she casted out a live eel to the fish, left the bail open, and waited patiently about 8 seconds. The fish latched one and Beth slid down from the hard top to fight the fish. Thirty five minutes later she had successfully landed her first citation cobia... 56lbs and 8oz of PURE love. Man what a rush!!!
