Went king fishing out of Topsail beach inlet saturday. The blue back herring were out thick at first light, 30 to 45 minutes had our baitwell full and we were off and fishing. It was fairly slow with one small shark right off. Then we caught 3 kings in an hour and half, 15, 21, and 25lbs. I ended up finally getting a bite and it was the one I was looking for. Fourty five min later we pulled in a 58.5 lbs wahoo within 16 miles of the beach. Not a bad half day of fishing...
