    A study just published reaffirms why, anglers ought to be using circle hooks - unless they intend/expect to keep every fish caught...

    There's a good study at SC DNR with pics and mortality rates too. They compare large/small hooks in shallow and deep water. Good read at this link

    Default lip gripping is also harmful to fish

    lifting fish by their lower jaw can significantly reduce post-release survival
