    Default South Africa - Richards Bay Bite On!

    For the captain and crew of "Blackwatch" the 2008 marlin season opened with a bang on Saturday 14 October 2007 when charter guests R Victor and H Vermeulen both realized their dreams to cath their first ever marlin. Victor boated a 316lb Blue and Vermeulen tagged and released a 155lb striped marlin in addition to other members of their group doing battle with yellowfin tuna in the 80 to 90lb class.
    these were also the first fish of the season and they nearly got a black as well the next day!
    All this happenned in a few short hours on a very unsettled sea, but I am sure that they all have unforgettable memories.
