Uwe says "I've just received a very brief note from one of our Club members, Richard Wooding, who currently works and lives on Mauritius.

Today, after a one hour 20 minute fight on 130lb test he landed a Blue Marlin of 1209lbs. Initially they'd assumed it was around 900 but were unable to get it into the boat and had to tow it in. Its true size was only revealed back on the dock."
