Working a crab pattern on the flats is killer right now. Catch an out-going tide in a creek pass and you will hook up. An afternoon out-going tide is best right now around the Nature Coast. The big reds are also heading up the creeks as it is getting cooler with the recent cold fronts. Thursday should be very good weather so just work the tides. Tropic Bay Guides out of Hudson, Fl is a fly fish/artificials only charter and I am hooking up with any small crab pattern. The mullet are all over and reds are following them on the flats on sunny mornings into early afternoon. When the tides pulls out, lay up next to a creek pass for success. Check out Tropic Bay Guides for more information or to book a fly fishing charter and thanks.
