Fish On!

From the Fishing Capital of Costa Rica, Los Suneos Resort and Marina! It looks like we are off to another great year of fishing here as our late November Marlin run has started early. Our top producing boats out of Los Suenos, have been hooking our lucky guests up with some Big Blue, Black, and Striped Marlin since the first week of November.

The bite has been fantastic, and continues to get better daily as we work our way into peak season. Our boats are also producing strong numbers of big Pacific Sailfish already, with quite a few of our guests seeing double digit bites and releases. The big Mahi-Mahi are everywhere as well, and quite a few of our guests have caught 10-15 per trip with a 20-25lb average, and many in the 40-50lb range!

The near shore bite has been equally as strong, with a lot of Big Roosterfish, Amberjack, Snapper, and Grouper being caught on our top near shore boats.

While fishing normally starts to pick up in November, this year it is really firing off early, and as mentioned above seems to be getting better daily. Our top produing boats are getting booked heavily for December and January through June. For those thinking about heading down to Costa Rica's Fishing Capital, I recommend that you make your reservations as early as possible to make certain you get on a top producing boat.
