Panama City flounder 11-24-08

We fished the St. Andrews Bay area in Panama City yesterday with a serious wind blowing up a good chop but still managed to pull a two man limit of flounder within four hours.. Gonna fry a few up tonight... Anyone ever tried to smoke a flounder?

Smoked some flounder fillets and a few slabs of Yellowfin tuna for the first time this afternoon... The flounder was great,,, the tuna was OK.

I've been fishing the Destin area the past few years when I visit my inlaws in Fort Walton Beach. what time of year is best for flounder in that region?

They have got some really wonderful flounders. I am sure that each of them will weigh more than 5 kg. Two months ago we went fishing in the same area but we could not manage to catch even a single one. Anyway I have decided to try my luck again before Christmas. I hope that I will be successful this time.
