Last week, I managed to hook up with a Blue Marlin just off Hopetown. While we did not catch this fish, it sure put on a heck of a show for a while. In addition to this, three more Blues were caught here in Marsh Harbour. Many more were seen with many Whites mixed in.
The wind is blowing right now, but it is expected to lay down in a couple days. We're anxious to get back out there and put some people on these fish.
Reminder that the Abaco Beach Resort is hosting their Inaugural Family Fishing Tournament April 2nd through 5th, 2009. The early registration discount expires tomorrow (3/16) so go to the tournament website (www.abacoswahoo.com) and download the official tournament application to save yourself a couple hundred dollars on the entry fee.
This is a complete family tournament that includes categories for largest Wahoo, and Dolphin and Marlin categories just for the ladies and Junior Anglers.
