Default Red fishing after work in Waccasassa bay

I hooked up with Chris and his son Drew to do some red fishing after work. We started out in Waccasassa trolling from island to island throwing topwater and and suspending lures. We pulled in several with the lures then we started throwing shrimp and ladyfish chunks to the reds. We caught over 35 reds. The first fish of the day was the biggest. I caught him on a skitter walk. Most of the smaller reds were caught on shrimp. The bigger fish were caught on lures and cut bait.

Are you right out in front of the state park there? Whats a rough distance from the launch? (I'll be paddling) Do you think the fishing will still be good this weekend?
    I like sushi.

We were about 3 miles north of porpoise point. It would be a long paddle. We were not in skinny water because we were in a bay boat
