    Default Shark on #15 mono

Bill with a 5' blacktip caught while kingfishing at Dan Russell Pier today. Reel was a Van Staal on a rod he built himself, only #15 mono.

Nice! Them blacktips are a blast on light tackle...but 15lb mono? That must have been a test in patience, and a little bit of luck. Nice one there.

He was using a short, light wire leader. The line was Ande Back Country.
