    Default day late/dollar short (again)!

thanx to mista ritchie for starting off this forum -- though i feel a bit like i'm trying to jump on the caboose -- after the train's gone by. actually been busy working -- way behind with feb issue of SF (hint: yellowfin funa!) -- but incentified to get enough done next couple days so hopefully i can drop my kayak into truck bed and head over to IRL on sunday, at least if forecast stays as decent as it is now. i do try to check forums (is the plural fora?) often but sometimes there's just not enuf time in the day.... and sometimes i don't chime in since i may not have any particular words of whiz-dumb. (i've never bought into that celebrity-status thing that some attach to being a well-known editor -- i'm just another fishin' schmuck, but one who happens to write about it for a living.) anyway, nice to see so much interest in bonnier's four great saltwater fishing titles/sites! -- doug olander / SPORT FISHING

Well.....I'd say you'll fit right in with the rest of us and that we found the right forum.

Thanks for taking the time to drop in from time to time. "fishin' schmucK" or not, I'm guessing you might just have a wee bit of advice that would benifit the rest of us.

What? It's not true...but that little bastard is built like a fire plug and he could probably shove one of those nasty fingers right through your skull...

And even though I'd rather rub turpentine across a wild cat's ass then mess with Rick...I'd get a couple of good licks in...
