20 bucks for three years, is that gonna pay the postage?
thanx to mista ritchie for starting off this forum -- though i feel a bit like i'm trying to jump on the caboose -- after the train's gone by. actually been busy working -- way behind with feb issue of SF (hint: yellowfin funa!) -- but incentified to get enough done next couple days so hopefully i can drop my kayak into truck bed and head over to IRL on sunday, at least if forecast stays as decent as it is now. i do try to check forums (is the plural fora?) often but sometimes there's just not enuf time in the day.... and sometimes i don't chime in since i may not have any particular words of whiz-dumb. (i've never bought into that celebrity-status thing that some attach to being a well-known editor -- i'm just another fishin' schmuck, but one who happens to write about it for a living.) anyway, nice to see so much interest in bonnier's four great saltwater fishing titles/sites! -- doug olander / SPORT FISHING

it's great to see the traffic increase on the forums. just wanted to introduce myself as well. i'm Charlie Levine and i'm senior editor at Marlin. i work with Dave Ferrell on the editorial side and i think i speak for him as well when i say welcome to our forums and please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns, or anything else relating to Marlin and big-game fishing. we do our best to satisfy our reader's needs so let us know what you guys want to see in the magazine.
thanks for having us
And even though I'd rather rub turpentine across a wild cat's ass then mess with Rick...I'd get a couple of good licks in...
